I enjoy entertaining. I haven’t had the opportunity to do much of it since reproducing, but I do enjoy it on the random occasion that we have people over to celebrate something. I always admire the details that some people put into their tables…the place cards, the neatly folded napkins, the fresh flowers, the unique decorations. It takes a lot of time to come up with an idea, shop for the items if you don’t already have them, place them in just the right spot, etc. Guys don’t get it. At least, my guy doesn’t. He would be just as happy getting a paper plate and eating in the garage while watching TV in his man cave. But, there’s just something special about a festive, pretty table that puts me in a happy mood. So to help get you in the mood for decorating your table with festive Thanksgiving table trimmings, I have found a few good ones. I hope they will lend inspiration for your own celebration!
Gaca Home features an awesome table with various sizes of pumpkins, greenery, gourds, and candles. I love how they used rustic urns to lend height to some of the smaller pumpkins. And keeping it clean with just whites, greens, and browns is also a fun way to spice things up!
Home is Where the Boat is has a pretty, but very simple approach with mini pumpkins of various colors and sizes, fresh cuts of branches with leaves, and some nuts sprinkled throughout. Those plates are so festive and the tablecloth definitely feels like fall! The tea lights and corn cobs are a nice touch too!
BHG features one of my favorite Thanksgiving looks! I ran across this picture last year, immediately purchased some gold spray paint, and proceeded to paint all of my pumpkins. I just love the modern take on a traditional theme.
Ella Clare has come super cute fall leaf printables. You could also use them as place cards with your guests names on them.
More painted pumpkins! I love this idea from Casa de Perrin . You could choose your favorite colors and go crazy painting all sizes of pumpkins for a super festive table! Might be a fun project with the kiddos. How simple, but so cute when they are all put together.
And, this jewel toned tablescape is just to die for! I would have never thought of putting all of these things together, but they all really compliment each other and look amazing!
Will you be hosting Thanksgiving this year? Do you enjoy a festive tablescape as much as I do?
