You will need:
black cardstock, and a piece or two of white card stock, if you have it on hand.
tape or ticky tacky
printer to print out the template
After cutting out the white bat, use it to trace a bat onto the black cardstock. A pencil shows up pretty well on the black cardstock. I opted for two different sizes of bats. To alter the size, change the print scale to 75%, then repeat the steps above. You could do as many different sizes as you like!
I had so much fun creating the bats that I decided to take it one step further with a witch and black cat cutout. I again found a design I liked on Pinterest, then tried to draw a similar one on a piece of black poster board. I cut them out and taped them behind an old, vintage window. I think they look so neat against my faux shiplap wallpaper wall!
It was a fun project, extremely inexpensive, and I am SO happy with how it turned out! I finally have my wall of bats! Let me know if you make any bats of your own. I’d love to see them!
