I wore a face mask in public for the first time this past Saturday. It felt weird that this is the world we are living in right now, but if this helps stop the spread of COVID-19, then I’m all for it.
Unfortunately, supplies are running low, and healthcare workers are in much more need of face masks than I am. However it is not recommended that everyone wear a face mask in public so we can flatten the curve by keeping ourselves healthy and stopping the spread.
This DIY face mask is extremely simple and uses just two things that most everyone has at home. I am using a bandanna and two hair ties, but you could use any fabric you have (old t-shirt perhaps), and if you don’t have hair ties, rubber bands will do just fine.
This short video will walk you through how to create your own face mask, which can be customized to fit any face, even a child’s.
Stay safe everyone! Let’s do our part to flatten the curve and kick this Coronavirus!
