Surprisingly Great Finds from Walmart

I ran to Walmart recently to grab some items for my son's school, and as I was rushing past the aisles, in hopes of getting the heck out of there ASAP, a cute ruffle sleeve sweater caught my eye.  I had my kids with me, so I wasn't about to stop and shop, but I felt the fabric, and was pleasantly surprised. They didn't have my size in store, so I made note of the brand and looked online later that day.  I was SHOCKED at the number of REALLY cute things they had!  And the prices were insane!  So, I placed an order to try them out.

All of the items I ordered were from the same brand, Time and Tru, and I have to say, I was impressed with every single one of them!  I don't think I have purchased a piece of clothing from Walmart in ages, but I must say, I will be checking back to see what other things this line comes out with!

For sizing reference, I am usually between a 6 and an 8 in pants, and I wear a small/medium in tops.

Also, as I've recently begun shopping on Walmart's website, I noticed things seem to go out of stock and come back in stock fairly frequently.  So, if you click on a link and it says the item is currently out of stock (which unfortunately a lot of the things in this post are currently out of stock), you can request an "in stock alert", and they will notify you when the item is available again!

I did all of my shopping online, and Walmart offers free shipping to your home on orders over $35.  If your order is less than $35, you can have it shipped to the store for free!  I much prefer this method over shopping in the store because our local Walmart is unorganized, has limited sizes, and tends to make me break out in an anxious sweat.

First up is this ADORABLE 3 tier ruffle sleeve top, as seen above.  I mean, this is the cutest shirt!  It ran a bit large; I am wearing a small and there is still plenty of room.  If in-between sizes, I would definitely say go down.  The material is a lightweight sweater material, but the quality was AMAZING.  I loved that the sleeves were a little bit shorter because oftentimes with bell-style sleeves, I find that they are annoying and get in the way.  However, because these are a little bit shorter, and hit me above the wrist, they weren't in the way at all.  Can you believe this sweater is under $15!!!  I mean, seriously!  How is that even possible?  It comes in other colors too!

Another one of my favorite items were these quilted vests.  I ordered a grey and a black one to try, and then I looked online and they had an ivory, so I ended up ordering that one too!  The grey one is a medium and the black one is a small.  I felt like the small fit me better, but if I was going to wear it zipped up with a bulky sweater underneath, I would probably have gone with the medium.  Other colors are available.

I was also extremely impressed with the button up shirts!  The material was soft and the patterns are cute.  I have a similar shirt from both Old Navy and Nordstrom, and this one has a quality very comparable!  I again ordered a small and a medium, but I couldn't tell much difference in the fit.

And how cute are they paired with the quilted vests?  An easy, comfortable outfit that looks like you tried!  I love layering in the fall!

Speaking of Nordstrom dupes, this twist front tee is identical to the one Nordstrom sells for $34.
It came down longer in the back, which is great if you want to wear it with leggings.  The black one is a small and fit me better, but I would probably size up to a medium if I did plan to wear it with leggings to avoid it hugging my booty too tightly.

Here is the olive color in a medium, so you can definitely see a difference in how it fits.

I was super excited to try these wubby fleece pullovers!  You may remember I tried one on from Nordstrom during their sale, and I felt like a giant teddy bear.  It swallowed me up and was anything but flattering.  I realize I'm not going for super sexy in these types of tops, but that one was extremely frumpy.  This one from Time and Tru however, fit much better!

The inside is lined with a soft flannel material, it has a 1/4 zip, pockets, and the collar is lined with the same wubby fleece.  And, for under $20, it's a TOTAL WIN!

This thermal henley is also very cute.  It was more of a snug fit, so it would be great for layering under cardigans or vests.  I am wearing a medium, so I would recommend sizing up unless you want it to fit really tight.  It also comes in camo, mustard yellow, and a pretty fall floral pattern.

This same brand also has some pretty awesome shoes in their line!  I ordered a few pairs to try, but they haven't come in yet.  Here are some of my faves:

These camo sneakers are adorable!  Also come in black.
Leopard booties under $20!  Say what?
Loving these quilted slip ons.  Very Steve Madden.
The criss cross detail on these booties is perfection.

Can you believe it?  I was honestly shocked at how impressed I was with every single item I ordered.  I am anxious to get my shoes in, and I'll report back to let you know what I think!

Have you shopped the Walmart clothing section lately?

I wanted to take a minute and say THANK YOU for shopping through the links that I provide!  I love sharing great finds with you, so earning a small commission on the things you choose to purchase through my links helps me justify the time I spend on putting these posts together!  Love you guys!
