Old Navy Try On

I hope you all had an awesome weekend!  The weather in Kansas City was absolutely amazing, so we tried our best to take advantage of it and crammed in lots of fall fun!  My kiddos were out of school Friday too, so we had an extra long weekend of fun!  Is it just me, or are the leaves more beautiful than ever this year?  Maybe it's just me being more appreciative in my old age, but I just can't get enough of the fall colors!

I recently ordered a few things from Old Navy, so I wanted to share my try on's with you!  Also, be sure to check back later this week because I am sharing how to style a particular Old Navy dress six different ways!  Gotta love a versatile piece!

For sizing reference, I am 5'6", wear a S/M in tops and usually a 6/8 in pants.  I will link everything from this try on at the end of the post for ya!

These sweater tunics are amazing!  I have one from last year and I love it so much, so I was happy to see them come out with a very similar option this year.  I ordered two colors this time (navy and red), but they also come in grey, mauve, ivory, and a neutral stripe.  I love the length, they come down slightly longer in the back, and have a small slit up each side.

How precious is this navy and white stripe layered over this chambray dress?  I love it when you can take two classic pieces and combine them for a whole new look!

And this red will be great now, and for the holidays!  I ordered both a small and a medium, but ended up keeping the mediums because the smalls were a little snug on me ole bum!  The mediums also leave enough room for me to layer a shirt underneath if I want to.

Next up is this drapey sweater vest (paired with the same tunic from above).  It's hard to see in the picture, but it has little flecks of different colors in it, so it's very subtle but so great because it goes with literally anything in your closet!  Adding this to your outfit makes you look like you put forth some effort!  And, it adds that extra layer of warmth!  I'm wearing a small.

Speaking of warmth, this Sherpa jacket is the bomb.com!  It is so soft, so cozy, has a hood and pockets!  SOLD!  It doesn't zip or snap, but there is a little hook and eye closure towards the top if you wanted to hold it together.  I am wearing a small, and it's plenty roomy, so I would recommend sizing down in this jacket.

I have been eyeing this cardigan for a while, and I finally snagged during their last sale.  I absolutely love the color, which they call mushroom.  It's a good mix of brown and grey, so it will go with the warm tones and the cool tones in your closet!  It's super soft and has pockets.  I am wearing a small.

This scuba knit Moto jacket intrigued me.  I had tried a similar, faux suede one on last year, and I love the idea of having a Moto jacket, but also being able to move in it!  I wasn't a fan of the material last year, but this knit is much nicer.  The material was very stretchy and easy to move around, so if you don't like jackets that are restricting, then this is your jacket, girl!

I will warn you that it runs really big.  I am wearing the XS, and I rarely get an XS in anything.  I could have also worn the small, and and if I was going to wear a bulky sweater underneath, that would be ideal.  But, usually I wear a thinner shirt under a Moto jacket, so I would recommend sizing down for sure.  I could zip the XS with no problems.  Also, I 'll mention the wrist area was a little snug, but I let the zipper out, which is how I prefer my Moto jackets anyway, and it was perfect!  This one also comes in a blush pink color, which looks so pretty online!

And finally, I had to show you guys these joggers one more time because they are fabulous!  I seriously get compliments on them all the time, and to get compliments on joggers...well, you know they must be cute!  I love that they are a sweater material, so while they are warm, they aren't super hot.  They have pockets in the front, and one snap pocket in the back.  I wear them down and also rolled up!  I have them in two colors, I love them so much!  I am wearing a medium.

That's it for today!  Hope you found something you liked!  Those Sherpa jackets would make great gifts...just saying!  Christmas will be here before you know it.
