What I'm Ordering From Amazon This Month (April & May)

Hey guys!  Or should I say gals?  Maybe there are some guys who read this...  maybe.
Anyway I'm back for another month of Amazon orders.  I was a super slacker and didn't get this post out last month, so this one will be a combo of April and May.  And considering it's now June, I will probably combine June and July because....summer....kids home....no time.

Anyone else feel like Amazon gets half of your paycheck?  I am willing to pay it though because it's just so damn convenient!

For those of you who are not familiar with Subscribe and Save, I'll give you a run down below.  If you already know the ins and outs, please feel free to scroll on down!
Amazon's Subscribe and Save program allows you to set up regularly scheduled deliveries on thousands of different items.  There is no commitment, so you can skip or cancel deliveries at any time.

Just for subscribing, Amazon gives you a 5% savings on each and every item.  If you have 5 or more items in a given month, then you will save 15% on the TOTAL amount of your bill.  Amazon's prices are often the same or better than Target/Walmart/Costco/etc, and then to save up to an additional 15% AND have it delivered to your doorstep is HEAVEN!  If you are a Prime member, you can get a 20% savings on diapers and baby food subscriptions by having 5 items delivered in a given month.

You can choose how often you would like each item (ex: once a month, once every 3 months, etc) and you can cancel any item at any time without any sort of fees.  If you subscribe to a certain toothpaste one month, and decide you want a different kind the next month, it's super easy to cancel your existing subscription and then place a new order for what you want.  Not everything is eligible for Subscribe and Save, but they sure do have a lot to choose from!  You can shop the S&S Store HERE!

A lot of the items are sold in bulk, so if you don't want 8 boxes of rice, see if you can find a friend or family member to split it with.  But there are also a lot of items that are sold individually too!  Amazon's prices vary quite frequently.  So, be sure to check the cost each month before committing to your order.  Sometimes just waiting until the following month (if you don't need the item right away) will save you some money.

Here's what I am ordering this month:
Sandal season is here!  If you have any that rub your tootsies, I swear by this moleskin!  It's sticky on one side and super soft on the other.  I wrote a whole blog post about how I love it and put it in the majority of my shoes!

We like these toothbrushes.  They are basic, but they are good quality and get the job done.  They are also great for cleaning...getting in tiny crevices or scrubbing grout!

My hippy toothpaste.  I know brushing  your teeth with salt may not sound appetizing, but it's really not bad at all!  There's a minty flavor, and you can barely even taste the salt!

My brother-in-law recommended this shampoo to my husband, so we are going to give it a whirl.  It's supposed to help with hair loss.

These sanding pads are amazing!  A friend recommended them to me when we were working on our mantel and they were so much easier to use than regular sandpaper.  If you have a project coming up, I would highly recommend snagging some of these pads.

This protein powder is pretty much a staple order for me lately.  I go through one cannister a month.  I'm still doing the same recipe...cashew milk, PB2, blueberries, spinach, and Vital Proteins.

I love this texturizing spray!  It's nice when I need a little extra oomph or if my hair is too clean and laying flat.

We use these microfiber cloths for cleaning our house and our cars!  They come in super handy for all kinds of things.  Now that the weather is nice, I have a feeling everyone is ready to wash all of the salt and winter grime off of their cars!

Mosquito Dunks are a must!  I get eaten alive by mosquitoes, and I was terrified to move to the country because I thought I would never be able to go outside.  We have a pond, and we have thrown these into the water each year.  They seem to work great because we haven't had many mosquitoes at all!  They are safe for the fish and animals, but don't allow the mosquito eggs to hatch.  I am also going to add some to our rain barrel!  If you have any areas of standing water, I highly recommend these.

I add PB2 to my morning smoothie and it's cheaper to get it from Amazon than the grocery store.  Yummy peanut butter taste with fewer calories.

This is my kids' favorite fruit pouch flavor, so we try to stock up when the price is low.  For some reason the price varies quite a bit on this flavor.  Must be a favorite of lots of kids!

I love this BB Cream!  I use it more in the summer because it's light and not as thick as foundation.  I have no idea how it works, but it comes out of the tube a green color, then magically changes to match your skin color!  It's crazy, but it totally works!

And by now you know I have dog food shipped to me on a monthly basis.  We recently switched from the puppy formula to the adult formula and it's still so much cheaper than going to the store to get it.   Plus I don't have to mess with lugging the heavy bags to my car!

Thanks for tuning into another episode of WHAT I BUY FROM AMAZON!!!  Actually, I buy a whole heck of a lot more than this from Amazon, but I don't know that I am willing to admit my entire purchase history to you quite yet.  Or to my husband for that matter ;)  hehe   Prime is just tooooooo easy.  See ya next time!
