DIY Cord Keeper

I want to show all of the other organization freaks out there what I like to do with my unruly cords.  I know I can't be the only one who gets pleasure out of having organized cords.  At least, I hope I'm not the only one!  It's super simple, and you probably have everything you need in your house!

Here's what you will need:  1) The cardboard tube that comes in your foil or plastic wrap.  I prefer to use these instead of paper towel tubes because they are thicker and they will hold up longer.  But, if all you have are paper towel tubes, and you are really chomping at the bit to organize your cords, then you just go for it girl!  2) Duct tape (fun colors make for fun organizers!), and 3) a serrated knife (i used a steak knife)

Start by marking where you want to cut your tube.  I prefer to cut mine into thirds, so that is about 4 inches per section.  But, you can choose whatever size you want.

Carefully cut the tube.

Wrap the tube with duct tape to help make it stronger and last longer.  Get as close to the edge as possible to avoid fraying.

And, there you have it!  Easy peasy!  Now, you can go to bed at night knowing your cords are tucked away nice and neat!
